Privacy notice

Avenyx Bio is an early-stage biotechnology venture in development. This site exists so that people interested in the work can read about it and get in touch. This notice explains what happens to the information you send us here. It is written to be read, not to be exhaustive.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site:

• Contact form — your name, your organization if you give one, your email address, the topic you select, and your message.
• Mailing list — your email address.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not attempt to identify visitors who do not contact us.

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages keep short-lived technical logs — IP address, timestamp, and the page requested — which are used to operate the site and limit abuse of the contact form. We do not use those logs for any other purpose.

Why we collect it

So that we can reply to you, and so that we can send you occasional updates if you have asked for them. That is the whole purpose. If you contact us about a possible collaboration, partnership, investment, or advisory conversation, we will use what you send to have that conversation with you.

What we do not do with it

• We do not sell it.
• We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form. Those are separate.

Who processes it

This site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, and messages submitted through the contact form are delivered by a third-party transactional email provider. Those providers process your submission on our behalf in order to deliver it, and are bound by their own terms and privacy commitments. Your message is then held in an ordinary business email account.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and reviewed periodically. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you ask to be removed. Technical server logs are kept only for a short retention period set by the hosting provider.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us and say so — no particular form of words is needed, and you do not have to give a reason. We will act on a deletion request promptly, and confirm when it is done. If you are on the mailing list, every update we send will also carry a one-click unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights over your personal data. We will honour those rights.

Children

This site is intended for a professional and scientific audience and is not directed at children.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it. Because Avenyx Bio is not yet incorporated, this notice will be revised once a legal entity exists and can be named as the data controller.
